A brand new 20,000 square meter facility

BAC is pleased to present its new, independent catering facility at Suvarnabhumi Airport. The building is designed to reflect the efficiency, quality and progressive attitude of the company.

The catering facility covers an area of 20,000 sq meters which is divided into two main areas – a domestic kitchen and an international kitchen, with a combined capacity for 25,000 meals per day. Furthermore, the catering unit also has a special area designated for a Halal certified kitchen which has a daily capacity up to 5,000 meals.

When it comes to the production process, all fresh products will arrive at the receiving unit for direct delivery and processing to various production or

   

storage areas. There is a complete separation of meal, poultry, seafood, vegetables and fruits. The pre-cut, raw preparation is done in accordance with customers’ individual requirements before being moved to the production area for final processing, with strict separation between Halal and International production.

From here, all products are now ready to be portioned out in accordance with customer specifications, all the time being checked and controlled with hygienic policies.

At our cold room, we ensure that foods and beverages remain at their absolute highest quality before being loaded onto the latest model refrigerated high-loaders.

As a new caterer, we are committed to operate from entirely new premises including High Loaders. Our High Loaders have competency to serve ATR 72, all ranges of Boeing and Airbus which also including the latest Airbus 380.

 
 
 
 
     

Bangkok Air Catering will strictly adhere to HACCP standards from receiving, preparation, production and until loading into the aircraft.

All staffs will receive extensive training with regard to ensure complete separation of production personnel from delivery personnel to avoid any risk contamination.

BAC also intends acquiring ISO 9001:2000 certification, and had designed the facility accordingly. Furthermore, all new employees have to undergo stringent medical checks to comply with the HACCP standards.

Short circuit surveillance system will be strategically located to monitor movement of all goods and to ensure maximum security of the facility.

 
Additionally, BAC will have an in-house micro-biological laboratory that will constantly monitor and control each step of the food production process as well as the hygienic conditions of tools and equipments. The facility’s ambient temperature will always be at the most suitable to ensure food safety standards.
 
 
 
    BAC will stringently conform to airline requirements and will have experienced chefs from different culinary backgrounds to produce variety of
Asia, Middle East and Western cuisines.

Likewise, BAC will also appoint Bangkok Hospital and its Nutrition Department, world-class private hospital, as its advisor to accommodate special dietary needs.
